In trading, understanding both BID and ASK prices is crucial. While most trading platforms default to showing BID prices, it's advisable to enable the ASK Line when opening Buy orders. In this guide, we'll walk you through the simple steps to enable the ASK Line on various trading platforms, including desktop and mobile.

This article contains information on how to:

        • Enable ASK line on Desktop Computer
        • Enable ASK line on Mobile Platforms

Depending on the platform you use, the steps will be a bit different.

        • To add an ASK line to your MT4 chart, follow these steps:
        1. Right-click anywhere on the chart.
        2. Select "Properties" > "Common" tab.
        3. Check the "Show Ask Price Line" box.
        • To add an ASK line to the MT5 chart, follow these steps:
        1. Right-click anywhere on the chart.
        2. Select "Properties" > "Show" tab.
        3. Check the box for "Show Ask Price Line."

Note: If you cannot spot the Ask Line, it may be due to a tight spread, causing it to merge with the Bid Line. To resolve this, simply zoom in on the chart by clicking the magnifying glass icon.

Additionally, please note that the Ask Price Line is typically displayed in red. If you've customized your chart colors, there's a chance it might blend with the background. To rectify this, navigate to the "Properties" > "Colors" tab and adjust the color of the ASK Price Line if necessary.

Enable ASK line on Mobile Platforms

        • iOS (MT4 and MT5):
        1. Go to "Settings."
        2. ap on "Charts."
        3. Slide the button next to the "Ask Price Line" to turn it on or off.
        • Android (MT4):
        1. Go to "Settings."
        2. Tap on "Charts."
        3. Check or uncheck the box for "Ask Price Line" to enable or disable it.
        • Android (MT5):
        1. Click on the "Chart" tab.
        2. Tap anywhere to bring up the contextual menu.
        3. Tap the "Settings" icon.
        4. Check or uncheck the box for "Ask Price Line" to enable or disable it.

By following these straightforward steps, you can ensure that you have access to both BID and ASK prices, providing you with valuable information for your trading decisions.
